The people of amarco. & our customers.
Our people work at height, in confined spaces, around chemicals and on busy commercial sites. We take that seriously, and we take our duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 seriously too.
Safety isn’t a separate department at Amarco. It’s part of how every job is planned, priced and carried out, from the first site visit to the final clean-up.
How we manage safety
Planned before we start. We assess each site and job before work begins, and we adapt our approach to the hazards we find.
Permits for high-risk work. We complete permits to suit each client’s requirements and the size of the job. Our crews work regularly within client permit systems, so large sites and regulated environments are nothing new to us.
Safety talks. Our crews hold regular toolbox talks on the hazards of the job in front of them.
Chemical safety. Our staff are trained, and safety data sheets are kept with our crews.
Right equipment checked. We invest in quality equipment and keep it maintained and inspected.
Everyone has a voice. From senior management to the people on the ground, everyone has an equal say on safety, and anyone can stop a job if it isn’t safe.
